First Annual Christmas Party

Oh my, what a party!! 

            ¡¡Dios mío, que fiesta!!

    

Since the Gaithersburg class was only four months old, I didn't know what turnout to expect at the RuedaUSA.com X'mas Party.  But... over 80 people showed up!  We danced rueda and salsa all night long.  We did so many ruedas, people were exhausted from the dancing.

And, we did Washington's largest known ruedas - 25 to 30 couples in ruedas so big that they covered almost the entire studio (the Gaithersburg studio is enormous!).  So many casineros participated that we had to put a bunch of couples inside the main rueda.

Like magic!

It all came together almost spontaneously,

when the beginners that Rick Kenski was teaching

joined the main rueda that Galileo Lopez

and Bill Mason were getting started. 

It was like magic! 

All of a sudden, the whole Gaithersburg

studio was filled with giant thriving ruedas. 

Awesome!!  Simply awesome!!

Great job guys!!
